Elements And Things
One, two, three, four
Reach up to the sky
Reach up to the sky
I would, but the sun's in my eyes
Can you see the lightnin'?
Can you see the lightnin'?
Oh, but why are you so frightened? Why?
Can you hear the thunder?
Can you hear the thunder?
Oh, you lay back down in wonder, yeah
Step out on the moon
Step out on the moon
There ain't nothin' but gloom on the dark side
It's dark and foreboding
It's dark and foreboding
Oh, my mind is overloading, yeah
Can you hear the thunder?
Can you hear the thunder?
Oh, you lay back down and wonder about things
It's dark and foreboding
It's dark and foreboding
Oh, your head is overloading, yeah yeah
Roosevelt And Ira Lee (Night Of The Mossacin)
This is about two cats
They're sitting down by a river in the swamps
They're sitting on a log
One of them is kind of a big fellow
And the other one is a little bit smaller and he's got a long-billed cap
And they're sitting there pondering on what they're gonna do for the night
And anything the big guy decides on the little guy's for
'Cause he digs him he's cool
So it's called Roosevelt and Ira Lee
E
The river was dark and muddy
And the moon was on the rise
And all of the creatures in the swampland
Had woke up to feed for the night
Roosevelt and Ira Lee were sitting there on a log
Ira Lee turned to Roosevelt and said
I'd sure like to have a mess of bullfrog
E

A
E
He said yeah yeah, Lord sure would taste good
E
So they slipped on their rubber boots
And walked down to the water's edge
And right away they knew that the night would be a bummer
'Cause Ira Lee stepped on a water moccasin
E
G
A
E
He said, uh uh, Lord, somebody help me
E
Ira Lee turned to Roosevelt when he quit his screaming and kicking
And he said let's forget about those bullfrog legs
And go out and steal us some chickens
And Old Roosevelt said like this now
E
G
A
E
Yeah yeah ooh it sure would taste good
Yes it would, I love my chicken
The river was dark and muddy!
Woodpecker
Like an old woodpecker I'm gonna knock on your door
Like an old woodpecker I'm gonna knock on your door
I'm gonna keep on knockin'
I've gotta keep on knockin'
I'm gonna keep on knockin' till I get some more of your love
Like old brown a mule I'm stubborn as can be
Like old brown a mule I'm stubborn as can be
You got so much honey
It's hard drive off the bees
Baby, I've got to have me some of your honey
Give it to me!
Baby, don't you try to run and hide
Baby, can't you let me come inside
When I start to work my love on you
Keep you satisfied
Baby, don't you try to run and hide
Give it to me!
Knock knock knock!

I believe it's raining all over the world
Neon signs a-flashing
Taxicabs and buses passing through the night
The distant moaning of a train
seems to play a sad refrain to the night
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
I believe it's raining all over the world

You just got to do your own thing
I find me a place in a box car
So I take my guitar out to pass some time
Late at night when it's hard to rest
I hold your picture to my chest and I'm alright
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
I believe it's raining all over the world
